ABOUT US

Windlight Pictures is a Munich-based production company, part of the ITV Studios group, and led by Moritz Polter as Managing Director and Executive Producer. Founded in 2021, Windlight Pictures develops premium content for the German-speaking and international markets. We collaborate with exceptional talents both in front of and behind the camera to create exciting, thought-provoking, entertaining, and inspiring content.

Our first series Nachts im Paradies is available on Canal+ and MagentaTV. Hundertdreizehn (One Hundred and Thirteen) premiered in October 2025 on ARD and ORF. The six-part premium drama was a ratings and critics success. We are currently in post-production on the six-part crime drama Death of a Horse, a German–Icelandic co-production with ACT4, commissioned by RÚV and ZDF under the New8 initiative.

Our development slate spans novel adaptations and original projects, including a high-end TV series based on the New York Times bestseller The Grimrose Girls by Laura Pohl. We are also in development on two 6 part series, one for WDR and one for SWR, and a movie project for Degeto.
