Andreas Kohl

Head of Post Production & Development Executive

After completing a media design apprenticeship, Andreas discovered his passion for post-production and subsequently worked at D-Facto Motion, a subsidiary of Bavaria Studios, as Head of Munich for 8 years. During this time, he also completed his undergraduate degree in Media Economics and Media Management alongside his work and graduated in 2017.

Before joining Windlight Pictures in 2022, Andreas worked for Bavaria Fiction for several years as Head of Post Production, where he already worked closely with Executive Producer Moritz Polter on series such as Arctic Circle, Freud and Das Boot. He was also responsible for high-end productions such as Das Geheimnis des Totenwaldes, Der Kaiser and Brecht as well as various series such as Tatort, Dengler and Inga Lindström.
